Dark and Light now playable for free
Farlan Entertainment has just announced that in addition to the opening of a new access mode (Discovery Mode), you can now also play Dark and Light for free and with absolutely no time limit.
This free service is currently being offered to all forum members: they will be able to access free game play (and I quote) “for the whole lifetime of Dark and Light.” However, before you start jumping up and down with joy, there ARE certain limits to this free service.
Once you reach the 10th level, you can continue the adventure-seeking and Ganareth exploration but you will not be able to collect more XP points (Fighting, Social, and Craft). Also, if you do decide to continue progressing through Ganareth, you’ll have to buy a Dark and Light activation key, and then you’ll also have to choose to be either a Freedom or Master player.
Still, it’s free gameplay, and anything that goes for free is always good news, right? We’ll keep you posted for more developments.
