It seems the Apocalypse has been delayed a bit. The PC version of Vigil Games and THQ’s Darksiders will be missing its summer release slot.

The game now has a September 24 release date in the UK, both for retail and digital versions. The publisher hasn’t made the new North American dates public yet, but GameStop has it pegged for a September 19 release.

Darksiders will also be getting a special Hell Book edition at launch. This version will include a comic book and art cards from creative director Joe Madueira as well as a soundtrack CD.
