Date/Price Set For PSP Camera And GPS Receiver
The PSP “Chotto Shot” (Quick Shot) Camera will be available on November 2nd, while the GPS receiver will be available for sale on December 7th, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan announced. The camera is equipped with a digital zoom, attached to the top center of the handheld. This enables users to shoot 1.3 megapixel photos and videos, and allows them to play games (in the same way as that of the Eyetoy).
The 6-gram GPS Receiver on the other hand, is versatile enough to be combined with software, such as Metal Gear Solid Portable OPS, Homestar Portable, Hot Shots Golf and Navigation Soft.
Scheduled to be showcased in the Tokyo Game Show on September 22, the camera is priced at 5,000 yen (approx. US$44) and 6,000 yen (approx. US $54) for the GPS.
