We reported a couple of weeks ago that the renowned video game developer and designer David Jaffe will provide a keynote speech in San Francisco at the event Game Developers Conference 08.

However, we learned today that Jaffe decided to skip the conference and will no longer deliver his speech outlining his career’s high and low points to serve as an inspiration for budding developers.

So what is the real reason for Jaffe’s decision? He explained this very matter fully in a video clip he posted in his personal blog Criminal Crackdown. Aside from that, Jaffe also shared his thoughts on Toshiba’s move to drop HD DVD support.
