Dead Head Fred Preview
IGN has a nice hands-on preview of D3Publisher’s upcoming PSP game, Dead Head Fred.
In Dead Head Fred, players take on the persona of private detective Fred Neuman. Savagely murdered and then resurrected in a bizarre scientific experiment, Fred is without his memory or his head! The game immerses players in the vicious action as they collect, upgrade, and switch heads on the fly to strategically fight malformed mutants, ghoulish gangsters, and maniacal mob bosses in a unique and compelling story of revenge and redemption.
This new PSP title will feature up to 12 minigames, which includes rat racing and cockfighting. In order to give the game a more natural feel, these minigames will be accessible in-game through some sort of area – rather than the usual one-off minigames, or those that can be accessed through a menu. Dead Head Fred is due for release on the 16th January 2007, and we may see more of this title at E3.
