Dead horse beating: Uwe Boll planning Alone In The Dark 2 movie

Uwe Boll's making sequels. - Image 1If you’ve been keeping track of Uwe Boll‘s hijinks on celluloid, you already know that Postal, his most recent game-to-movie adaptation, actually scored hits with critics who were expecting nothing else than poop on film. You also know that his next venture, “Far Cry”, is already well into production.

What you probably don’t know is that he’s already planning to make the sequel to “Alone In The Dark”, the 2005 suspense-thriller laden with so-so acting at best and unspeakable terrors at worst.

Before anything else though, it’s good to note that he will not be directing the actual movie. Nope, ol’ Uwe’s busy in Cannes and handling sales of Far Cry and Postal.

What it bodes for the “Alone in the Dark” sequel, we’re not quite sure, as he’s yet to announce just who’s starring in it or who’s going to be in the director’s chair. So it’s still a toss-up on whether it’s good or bad news We’re putting our money on the former though, as it’s always healthy to be optimistic.
