Dear gawd! SIXAXIS-controlled robot!

We’ve all seen enough of those Wiimotes and people hacking into PC’s to do all those weird things. But this is just plain scary. Some guy actually used the Sony PlayStation 3’s SIXAXIS controller to manipulate a robot. We’re not sure if he made that one himself as well, but it really kicks butt.

Okay…. It’s a little kinky. Scratch that, it really doesn’t seem to do much except what looks like heavy petting with a spider-robot, but hey, we all know there are guys out there smart enough to do crazier stuff. The next thing you know, people could mount cameras on it and start treating us all to peep shows.

By the way, we can’t wait for crazier stuff that people can come up with for the Xbox 360 controller. Talk about an interesting sub-battle in the console war.
