Racing and shooting are two very different skills requiring similar types of concentration and coordination. They also have another thing in common these days as two highly-anticipated titles from the genres appear to be having delays in their release.

According to the listings on GameStop’s online store, Gran Turismo HD, the racing simulation from Polyphony Digital, and Hellgate: London, the first-person MMO from Flagship Studios, are now expected to come out late next year. While there is no word from both studios directly on the intended release date, a spokesperson from Namco Bandai, Hellgate: London‘s publisher, said that the game is still on a “To Be Announced” status on their end.

Whether or not they have a release date, let’s all just hope they won’t get delayed further than they already seem to be. Better yet, maybe spokespersons from both companies can offer statements giving gamers a notice that there won’t be any more delays, and some specific release dates to boot.
