Delta Air very DS-friendly with free demos

No, your DS will not be used as a GPS aid for the airline.Mario may find riding with Delta Airlines (Other OTC: DALRQ) more accommodating now. The airline has partnered with Nintendo to provide passengers streaming through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport with free Nintendo DS demo downloads. Hooray for in-flight entertainment!

All travelers who bring their DS with them have to do is approach one of the DS Download Stations on Concourses T, A, and B, and follow a few simple instructions to download a number of “interactive demos” including… Brain Age, Elite Beat Agents, and Clubhouse Games (There has got to be a more expanded list of titles for download if we expect our DS to last us on a flight to Europe or something…).

Portable gaming devices like the DS are a perfect tool for passing the long hours of an overseas flight (short of actually taking the plane in your own hands, but the sky marshals wouldn’t like that at all). Of course, as a flight attendant Penny Arcade will now demonstrate, please observe all advice and warnings from the cockpit about operating wireless devices during take-off and landing.

Brace for impact!

(Urban myth or not, I personally am NOT willing to test that out on an actual flight…)
