Nintendo of America has announced that they’ve found a suitable replacement for the Marketing VP post that was left vacant by Perrin Kaplan last year.
The new VP, Denise Kaigler, is expected to arrive at her post at Nintendo’s Bay Area office in Redwood City by February 18. Kaigler had previously worked as the head of Global Corporate Communications and Corporate Citizenship for Reebok International for 16 years. She was also previously the head of Corporate Communications in the United States for the Adidas group.
NoA further announced that Bill van Zyll has been assigned as their new director and general manager for Latin America. Van Zyll is expected to start at his new job immediately. Prior to his new post in Nintendo, van Zyll served as the Whirlpool Corporation’s Director of Finance for Sales in North American for four years. He has worked for the company for more than 15 years.
Both Kaigler and van Zyll will be reporting to Cammie Dunaway, NoA’s executive vice president of Sales and Marketing. Dunaway had this to say regarding the announcement:
Denise and Bill bring a wealth of branding and marketing experience to our team. Their expertise will help us keep Nintendo’s momentum going strong throughout 2008 and beyond.
