Despertar del Cementerio universal unbricker version 4 released

After a few months since the last release, Dark AleX has finally updated his Despertar del Cementerio universal unbricker. The app now stands at version 4 and now installs 3.80 M33-5 instead of 3.71 M33-3. Check out the changelog in the full article.

The fourth version of Dark AleX‘s Despertar del Cementerio universal unbricker has just been released. Here’s version 4’s full changelog, straight from the readme:

• Installer now checks if user has a custom theme installed, and ask him to disable it before running the program.
• the PSN DRM file in flash2 (act.dat) is now backuped during ms creation and restored in the unbrick.
• flash2 is now formatted too.
• Now installs 3.80 M33-5 instead of 3.71 M33-3.

Despertar del Cementerio v4 works on both the PSP Slim and PSP Phat. Some of the steps involved in unbricking your PSPs can be quite dangerous when done incorrectly, so be very careful when using this app. Read and understand the readme file included in the download before installing.

There also seems to be some corrupted archives containing this update floating around. We recommend that you make sure that the Despertar del Cementerio v4 archive you downloaded isn’t corrupt.
