Here’s some demo news for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, the localized version of Capcom‘s Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G. It’s kinda popular in Japan.
The Unite demo has already been announced for June, but Capcom hasn’t made any announcements yet on an exact release date. What they have revealed, however, is that it will let PSP gamers jump straight into what the Monster Hunter series is all about: hunting.
The demo will come with high-level pre-created characters skilled at each of the game’s major weapon types. The actual weapon types weren’t mentioned, but Great Sword/Long Sword, Gunlance/Lance, and Bows will probably make it in. Sword and Shield too.
There will be “multiple missions” and those who download the Unite demo can go hunting with friends via multiplayer, do everything solo, or enlist the help of a Felyne Knight.
Watch out for the Monster Hunter Freedom Unite demo on the PlayStation Store for PSP in early June.
