Details of Nintendo DS Lite North American Release Out Tomorrow

Will the veil of secrecy surrounding Nintendo DS Lite North American debut be finally lifted tomorrow at IwataÂ’s 2006 GDC keynote speech?  According to Advanced Media Network a number of Nintendo affiliates at the Game Developers Conference confirmed that the price and release date of the Nintendo DS Lite in North America will indeed be included during Iwata's address.

The company is currently planning on releasing an upgraded version of the portable in the region but have no plans of replacing the systems with that of the DS Lite. The original product will stay on the market. No word yet on price-drop for the original DS unit once the upcoming DS Lite product line arrives in North America but Iwata will reveal an updated MSRP for the DS.
