If you’ve been playing Square Enix‘s Final Fantasy XI on your PC or Xbox 360 regularly, then you may have already picked up their latest content update. If you haven’t picked it up though, you may want to read on, as we’ve got the story on what this new content update entails.
Now, there’s a lot of stuff that’s in the patch notes, so we’ve got a sampling of the most pertinent portions of the update.
Perhaps the most important part of the update has everything to do with the upcoming expansion that’ll be out on November 22, Wings of the Goddess. The update includes the new areas and the Scholar and Dancer job classes that are included in the latest expansion.
There’s also some non-expansion content that’s a part of the update. For instance, new spells and abilities have been added to make your characters more versatile. You can also invite party members into your Mog House now. Furthermore, changes have been made to the Chocobo Circuit, with the most obvious of them being the reduction in sign-up fees and the length of time required to enter a race.
