Those of you who were excited about the Wii Loader project that Waninkoko was working on will be greatly disappointed. A recent announcement posted on the developer's site stated that the homebrew application has officially been abandoned.The reason behind this is that a backup copy of the Loader was leaked to the public, causing the developer to drop the project. This is definitely a sad day for the many members in the homebrew community who have been clamoring for a homebrew loader which can run Wii ISOs.
For now we can only cross our fingers and hope that someone else might pick up on this project and complete it. Either way, we'll be sure to keep our eyes out for any updates regarding this or any similar homebrew projects.
