Devil May Cry anime opening video

Videogame otaku rejoice – one of the most beloved licenses ever to hit the gaming scene has finally made its way from delicious pixel to even more delicious celluloid. Presenting the opening sequence to the PlayStation 2’s killer app that had us slashing and shooting and pretty much just tearing up the place with the Devil Trigger – the anime version of Capcom‘s Devil May Cry.

Even with the opening, things are already looking slick with our white-haired hero Dante being the ridiculously-cool demon slayer that he is. Familiar faces such as Trish and Lady also make their appearances, as well as a few new ones. No sign of Vergil anywhere, though, but if Lady made the cut, Dante’s katana-wielding brother should be close by.
