Digital manga store is Square Enix’s Comic-Con reveal

We know they’re making toys for MGS: Peace Walker and the other game IP over there, but what’s Full Metal Alchemist and Soul Eater doing there?

Well, they didn’t call it Comic-Con for nothing. Square Enix is planning to launch a digital manga store for the US and France, which will include the aforementioned manga franchises, plus a few more. Right now, the first chapters of Fullmetal Alchemist, Soul Eater, Black Butler and O-Parts Hunter are available for free. More will follow when the service launches this Fall.

Fees and pricing have yet to be announced, but they did indicate that you have to be registered at the Square Enix Members site to be able to access the manga store. But if you’re just in for the freebies, you won’t need one.
