Dimple presents Mitewa Ikenai horror title for the DS

If you’re looking for a good horror title for your Nintendo DS portable, you may want to check out Dimple’s Mitewa Ikenai. While it appears to be an import title, we think it has potential. Check the screenshots after the jump to find out why.

Recent years have seen a trend in Asian horror films. Films like The Ring managed to capture the imagination of horror fans around the world. Now, it seems, the horror trend has moved to the Nintendo DS with Dimple’s new horror title Mitewa Ikenai.

Roughly translated as “You Mustn’t Look,” Mitewa Ikenai features involves two different modes. The first one has you examining photographs, trying to spot paranormal inconsistencies. The second one, on the other hand is actually an adventure game. The player acts as an investigator sleuthing around a home where an evil supernatural being resides.

Dimple’s Mitewa Ikenai is due for a Japan release this summer. Here’s hoping for a translation and a release on the shores of English-speaking countries, too.
