Disgaea 3 official website now up

Nippon Ichi‘s much successful turn-based strategy RPG series is making its way to next gen with Disgaea 3 for the Sony PlayStation 3. With its September 21 release later this year, plenty of details about the game should surface in the next few days. Just recently, the official website went up.

Unfortunately, the website only contains a single page at the moment. From what we can gather, there are no plans yet what limited first edition packages will contain. Disgaea 3 also doesn’t have a CERO (equivalent of ESRB in Japan) rating as of now, but previous titles received T for Teen in the U.S.

Known for dark humor and quirky dialogues, Disgaea 3 seems like it’ll follow the tradition of Nippon Ichi video games. According to previous magazine scans, the protagonist this time will be an otaku named Almaz. If the term “otaku” doesn’t ring a bell, let’s just say our hero will probably more hardcore than any geek you know.
