Disgaea: Prince of the Demon World and the Red Moon confirmed for DS

Thought Sony PSP owners will hog all the Disgaea fun with Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness from NIS? Think again. Nintendo DS owners will have their fill of dark, tactical glee as Famitsu announces the confirmation of Disgaea: Prince of the Demon World and the Red Moon. We’ve got a scan to prove it after the jump.

Remember that poll which Nippon Ichi put up, asking gamers about which handheld platform they want to see a new Disgaea game in? It looks like the Sony PlayStation Portable won’t be hogging all the fun with Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness as Famitsu reveals another one coming to the Nintendo DS.

The game is set to be titled Disgaea: Prince of the Demon World and the Red Moon. Not a lot of details were dropped, but we were able to grab this scan for you.

When you think about it, the only demon prince we know of would have to be naughty little Laharl. As for the Red Moon part, we’re pretty much stumped. We do remember Laharl’s mom coming in the form of a red Prinny, but even that may not be connected to the title at all. Oh well, it looks like we’ll have to wait and see.
