Disney + adds an Icelandic-themed interactive culture to the Apple Vision Pro.

Disney+ brings users virtually to Iceland, allowing Apple Vision Pro owners to experience a new immersive environment. Apple Vision Pro’s ability to enter immersive environments is one of its main selling points. Apple’s headset is now available to Disney+ subscribers who also own the headset. The new environment, which was launched on Monday, is called Iceland. Its icon bears the National Geographic logo. It is the first immersive project that National Geographic has ever created for Apple Vision Pro. The environment transports users to the rocky terrain in Iceland’s Thingvellir National Park. National Geographic photographers captured the scene of the UNESCO site, which was blanketed in snow. Disney Studio Technology assisted in the production of high-resolution, 3D models captured using photogrammetry. Iceland joins a list of Disney+ environments that includes a Theater, Scare Floors, Avengers Towers, and Tatooine.
