With just the right materials and a little amount of technical skills, you can resurrect your dead notebook and transform it into a shiny LCD TV.
Step 1: You have to remember that a notebook LCD only accepts digital signal so it can’t be used directly with the PC. But this problem is easily solved by a converter that transforms the analog signal to digital. You’d also need an inverter to activate the CCFL (lamp).

Step 2: Once you have the converter and the inverter, connect away! You can use this very useful guide if you don’t know which connects to which. It’ll save you a lot of trouble.
Step 3: If you’ve succeeded in Step 2, connect the LCD panel into the driver, then connect the LCD panel power into the inverter. It should look like this:
