Don’t buy Metal Sonic DLC for 800 Microsoft points
Just a quick warning – if you’re planning to get the Metal Sonic DLC for Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, make sure that the price is right. By “right”, I mean 560 Microsoft Points. Unfortunately, a pricing mishap put the add-on up on the Marketplace for 800.
Sega reports via Twitter that they’ve already addressed the problem and that the price should have been corrected to 560 points by now. Do note that some may still see the DLC at the erroneous price, so wait for a few minutes until the fix kicks in. Meanwhile, Sega’s already in contact with Microsoft to see what can be done about those who’ve downloaded for 800.
Worth 560 Points, not 800
The DLC pack consists of a new race track, “Egg Hanger”, five new music tracks, and a robotic Sonic riding the Metal Booster.
The PS3 version will be getting the Metal Sonic add-on too, but not on tomorrow’s Store update. It’ll be there on April 22nd, along with a premium theme for your XMB. The DLC will be priced at £4.79, €5.99, or US$ 7.99, while the premium theme will be at £1.59, €1.99, US$ 2.49.
