Double Fina and EA announce North American and Euro release dates for Brutal Legend
Electronic Arts has announced the North American and European release dates for Double Fine Productions’ hard-rocking, face-melting, umlaut-laden Brütal Legend (PS3, Xbox 360). I bet Tim Schafer is one happy dude right now.
Electronic Arts has announced the North American and European release dates for Double Fine Productions’ hard-rocking, face-melting, umlaut-laden Brütal Legend (PS3, Xbox 360). I bet Tim Schafer is one happy dude right now.
Brütal Legend tells the story of Eddie Riggs (voiced by Jack Black), the ultimate roadie. After getting knocked unconscious by a stage accident, Eddie awakens in a world where every heavy metal album cover and lyric Eddie knows has come to life. There, he must use his roadie skills and heavy metal knowledge to overthrow the evil emperor Doviculus.
The game is currently slated for an October, er, “Rocktober” 13 release in North America. The European release date has been set for October 16. Here’s what Schafer had to say about the news:
Wooo! Having an official release date is awesome! And how cool is it that EA threw down the dough to have the name of an entire month changed to Rocktober?
Yep, he’s happy, along with all the people waiting for this game.
