Downhill Jam Takes Us to Rio de Janeiro and Edinburgh

Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam

If you want to start riding like the Birdman then you better start paying some attention. Activision producer, Kragen Lum, teaches us the ins and outs of Rio de Janeiro and Edinburgh through this very informative walkthrough video for Tony Hawk’s Downhill Jam. You’ll be doing a 900 in no time.

He begins by taking us to Rio in the beginning of the race. He decided to take on the character of Ammon as he gets really big air. His overall appearance, the dreads, the tribal symbols, all scream Rio. He flaunts a couple of cool tricks that the character can do. Air is the operative word for this character.

Next, we’re shipped to Scotland for a trick event using the same character. If you have a flair for drama, make sure to go through the rings of fire for a stunning slow motion effect that will highlight your trick. Also, he reveals that in Tony Hawk‘s Downhill Jam, you can be as un-sportsman like as humanly possible. Punch, kick, find shortcuts, knock pedestrians over, all the nasty things you can think off while riding a board.

The game will be available for Q4 of 2006 for the Wii. The high quality video is available for download over at IGN.
