Download Full PS3 Games (In Korea… Maybe)

In an interview with Japanese tech site Watch Impress, Sony Computer Entertainment Asia’s Tetsuhiko Yasuda talked about the possibility of downloading full PlayStation 3 games at a significantly reduced price in order to combat piracy. The idea is to create a framework for online PlayStation 3 content delivery straight to buyers homes (similar to Valve Software’s “Steam”). Korea has long since been a test bed for new online enabled services, having one of the highest penetrations of broadband internet in the world.

All we can say is, “sounds good, we’ll have some of that over here thank you very much”.
