DPAD Editor takes the Wii Diet challenge

The above picture is that of DPAD’s Editor-in-Chief, Mike Antebi. If you’re a little overweight, then you may want to keep tabs on him, because he’s about to do what many of us have only dreamed of: he’s going to go on a Wii Diet.

Motivated by readers who are probably interested in seeing results for themselves (myself being one of them), Antebi will be embarking on a journey filled with gym training, Wiimote-based boxing, and *gulp* actual dieting. Here’s his regimen below:

  1. Three 1-2 hour per week sessions at the Gym (Powerhouse Gym)
  2. Five 30 minute Nintendo Wii Sessions on Wii Sports
  3. At least 3 home cooked meals a week
  4. Breakfast every morning

What he’s doing is great and all, but the QJ staff is betting that a good amount of the weight loss will come from the actual gym use rather than Wii Sports play. Still, if playing videogames is an incentive to keep working out, then it’s definitely something gamers can grow to love. In the meantime, we’ll keep looking out for updates on his workout regimen and we wish him the best of luck in this adventure of his.
