Bioware’s Executive Producer Mark Darrah says of this new venture: “Anime is a great medium for us to continue the robust Dragon Age story. Parterning with FUNimation ensures that we are delivering the exceptinal quality and entertainment value that our Dragon Age fans expect.”

We don’t know yet as to what exactly will the storyline be, but they’re projecting a 2011 release for this one. US anime distributor FUNimation’s been tapped to work on the anime, with Darrah and Creative Director Mike Laidlaw take on the executive producers post.
