Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire gameplay features and concept art
LAND HO! Co., Ltd., developer of the upcoming Nintendo Wii video game Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire, has released gameplay information about its new hack n’ slash (n’ burn) title.
Dragon Blade boasts of a brand new weapon system: annihilating enemies by using the dragon’s power through the flaming sword and the dragon’s wings and claws. Even the dragon’s tail and the flame-throwing mouth can be used in combat. We wonder if the dragon’s parts are customizable/upgradeable as well. Keeping true to the Wii’s way using the controllers, players will need to use both arms to let out the flaming sword and dragon powers at the same time.
What is confirmed to be upgradeable, however, is the main character’s fighting styles and combat options. Players are also granted the freedom to mix and match moves to create their own fighting method.
The game will be set in 20 different fantasy environments and 6 worlds, all visualized by Richard Knaak of Dragonlance fame. Knaak, who we reported in our previous article as the writer for Dragon Blade, also penned stories for Warcraft, Diablo, and Age of Conan.
