Dragon Ninja’s Got Company

Ninja Gaiden

It was around two years ago since the last time we played Ryu Hayabusa‘s character, and we can still remember some green letter “X” on top of our consoles. Things definitely have changed since then for the Dragon Ninja. If for the better, we’ll all just have to see.

In the meantime, Sony is currently enjoying the exclusive status of Ninja Gaiden Sigma for the PS3. Developed by Tecmo, this most recent rendition of the series should provide boost for them as Hayabusa traces his fan base back from the good SNES days. As of this writing, there are still no further details about gameplay or story. But for now, suffice it is to know that Ryu has got some femme fatale company in Rachael.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is expected to come out the spring of 2007 in Japan. Release dates for other areas are still to be confirmed.
