Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker – New screens

The Dragon Quest Monsters series of games isn't all too popular outside Japan, but is seen by many as an excellent franchise, a "Pokemon Done Right". Previous games were released on the Gameboy with 2D Graphics. With the the newest entry, Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker, Square-Enix attempts to create a cel-shaded, full 3D world on the Nintendo DS, and they seem to succeed well.

Your task in the game is to capture as many different monsters as you can, then using them to battle against the monsters of other people in arenas. Dragon Quest Monsters always provide lots of freedom and variety. You can even breed your monsters, creating entirely new species with their own unique abilities - thousands of different combinations are possible.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker hasn't yet been confirmed for a release in North America. In the past, the series always found it's way out of Japan, however - so sooner or later,  it's pretty likely that we too can go hunting.
