Square Enix has announced that its anticipated RPG Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors for the Nintendo Wii will hit North American store shelves on February 26, 2007. This title is sure to please all RPG-starved fans on the Nintendo Wii turf a satisfying dose of blade-swinging fantasy.
Set in the land of Avalonia, Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors will place players in an adventure where they must unravel the mystery behind the appearance of mysterious monsters that have invaded the kingdom even after the fall of the Deathbringer. The monsters are threatening to tear your land apart, and you’re the only one who can save the town and its people.
In Square Enix’ Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors, you’ll be using the full array of movements that the Wii Remote provides to give a sense of realism in swordplay. Sword strikes, shield blocks, and even special moves will all be at your disposal with simple gestures.
Series creator Yuji Horii, legendary Dragon Ball Z creator Akira Toriyama and renowned composer Koichi Sugiyama have joined forces once more to create the perfect fantasy world to captivate RPG fans and casual players alike.
