Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 out in Wiinter for Europe, more screens

Nintendo Wii fans in Europe who are on the lookout for some intense anime-style fighting are in for a treat come winter because Atari and Namco Bandai are releasing the third iteration of the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series during the holiday season.

Join Goku, Vegeta,Trunks and Gohan for the biggest adventure yet to hit any console with some 150 playable characters and a plethora of game modes that are sure to keep you entertained for hours.

Namco Bandai is promising all of us a control scheme that will take advantage of the Wiimote and allow for a much more involving fighting game experience than ever before. Innovative game mechanics have also been conceived.

For instance, day and night stages aren’t there just for the visuals. They actually affect the strategy in the game. When it’s night and there’s a full moon, you better watch out if you’re facing a Saiyan. The moon, as told in the series, transforms these mighty warriors to gargantuan apes capable of planetary devastation. Hop aboard a cloud and join the saga that never ends.
