Drake’s Fortune to be released on the PS3
The Naughty Dog team who gave us the iconic games Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter are set to bring us something entirely out of their genre: a game with a human-only cast. Enter Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, a modern day treasure hunt across the globe.
And when we say treasure, we mean treasure. The game’s backstory is based on the real life character of Sir Francis Drake, an English captain who lived almost half a century ago. His descendant, Nathan, finds his diary in the lead coffin Sir Francis was supposed to be in. In the diary, he finds clues to Sir Francis’ last adventure, and hints of a treasure.
The game is set in a lush environment and told through the character of the all-too-human Nathan and delivers more than 50 minutes of cinematics. It promises to be an adventure for gamers who love action, drama and a good story. The game will be released on the PS3 later this year.
