Dreamlords trailer and tutorial videos out now
Dreamlords has finally been released. Strategy gamers or MMORPGers with a penchant for strategic warfare are now dancing with glee. For those, who haven’t heard of it, it might be a good idea to check the past articles we have done.
Anyway, the tutorial video and the intro are out now, and they’ve convinced me to pick up this game. It looks awesome, and from all indications it plays awesome as well. We don’t know how it will stack up against the kings of the MMORPG world such as WoW and EverQuest II, but it might be the next big thing given the gameplay that the game provides.
- The opening video is a bit sparse, but it works well. The narration is spot on and the story sets a perfect backdrop to the fantasy world you’ll find yourself in (it seems a bit cliche at times, but maybe “familiar” or “comfortable” is a better word than “cliche”).
- The gameplay video shows the awesome graphics and gameplay that the game has to offer. It plays like Civilization, has a RTS element and you Dreamlord can be customized to your liking. In addition, the world they’ve created is persistent (i.e. even when you’re not there, life goes on).
