Driver ’76 ships to retail stores
Driver ’76 for the Sony PSP, the newest installment in the Driver series, has shipped to retailers today according to an announcement from video game publisher Ubisoft. The game comes with a MATURE rating and is available for a suggested retail price of US$ 39.99.
This prequel to Driver: Parallel Lines is the first all-new iteration of the famed Driver series to be released since Ubisoft acquired the Driver franchise last year. Developed by Sumo Digital Ltd. and Ubisoft’s Reflections studio, the game features Hollywood-style car chases while also letting the player experience the game’s 70s-based open world environment on foot.
Driver ’76 also comes with quite a few mini-games and multiplayer features. Players can also customize their rides as they roar through the game’s 27 all-new missions.
