Driver: Parallel Lines trailer looking to impress
The first Driver game for the original PlayStation was a good mission-based game of the genre that produced a significant following. Since then, its popularity waned through the succeeding generations and lukewarm reception made the series look as if it was running on empty.
As a result, Ubisoft eventually took over developer Reflections Interactive and absorbed all 80 members of the studio. After a short pit stop, they’re ready to roll out again with the new Driver: Parallel Lines game for the Nintendo Wii.
The trailer shows a glimpse of things to come and it looks like there’s going to be a breath of new life in the franchise. It’s still early to rave about it but at least we’re seeing a glimmer of hope for a series we’d all hate to see break down. Here’s hoping for the best!
