Developer’s note:

 

I was not satisfied by existing wardrivers (DS2key and wifi_lib_test, which are basically the same). So I decided to write mine.
Notable benefits include :

  • Correct detection of WPA access points
  • Display only desired protection levels (open, WEP, WPA)
  • Easy scrolling
  • Easy testing of internet connectivity for open access points
  • Timeouts

 

Changelog:

  • got rid of PALib (way easier to build)
  • timeouts should work better (correctly ?)
  • cleaner code, split in different files
  • connection test to open APs
