DS homebrew boardgame goes Windows with OMalone v1.0

OMalone, the homebrew Abalone board game port for the DS, is now playable on PC. But wait! There’s more! With OMalone for Windows, not only can PC gamers play alone or take on the computer, they can also play online against an opponent on another PC or on the DS.

OMalone is a two-player strategy board game which has been described as “sumo wrestling with marbles”. The game’s objective is simple: push opposing marbles off the edge of the board. You can push up to two opposing balls when you have more marbles in a line. You can move 1, 2, or 3 of your balls at the same time.

OMalone for Windows user interface is the same than the Nintendo DS version except right clicking the mouse on the game will make these menus appear:

• Homepage: brings you to the homepage of the game.
• Pseudo: sets your pseudo used during online games.
• Proxy: sets proxy settings, if you have any
• Exit: quit the game immediately

OMalone v1.0 for Windows requires .net framework version 2.0.
