DS Homebrew – PuyoPuyo Clone alpha version

chongtin’s updated his PuyoPuyo Clone for the DS with his new release, the alpha version. Inspired by the original Puyo Puyo game, this clone retains the classic puzzle challenge to bring the game straight to your Ninty handheld.

chongtin’s updated his PuyoPuyo Clone for the DS with his new release, the alpha version. Inspired by the original Puyo Puyo game, this clone retains the classic puzzle challenge to bring the game straight to your Ninty handheld.

From the looks of it, this release hosts bugfixes, such a the one for the top boundary checking. The dev notes that he plans to add in the score system for his next release since everyone just seems to love it. Also, he’ll be adding in 3d sprites. The current implementation can only have 128 sprites on one screen.
