DS Homebrew – Squirm
Do you guys remember Squirm from Commodore 16? If you do, then it’s time to get reacquainted with it, or if it’s your first time to encounter it, it’s time for you to get introduced. What we have here is a remake of the said classic in DS homebrew style by developer Zilog.

He notes that he’s trying to stick to the original version as faithful as possible for his first brewed game, and has even re-used all original graphics. He does intend, however, to add in a new set of graphics as an option later.
Now for the game: your objective is to navigate around the maze while steering clear of the squirms. Also, you’ll have to eat the 200 eggs laid by the queen squirm. Not exactly appetizing, I know. And like PacMan, if a squirm gets to you, then it’s back to the start for you.
Controls are basic, with just the D-pad or face buttons used to move around. This release has been tested on No$gba and DSLite with Supercard Lite (micro SD). Enjoy!
