DS Lite Case Mod

The DS Lite was initially released in three color variations – Ice Blue, Enamel Navy, and Crystal White. Of course, there’s your Jet Black and girly pink DS Lites. Add the Pikachu-ed DS Lite to the list, and you got yourself quite a decent number of models to choose from. But then again, there’s always room for customization – that is if you dare mess with the glossy appearance of your DS Lite.

While doing our usual rounds of web-surfing and forums-hopping, we stumbled upon daninski‘s DS Lite mod over at deviantart.com. Putting his artistic skills to use, he presented a two-toned DS Lite – white inside and blue on the outside. This gives a rather old-school look, but we’re loving it! Notice that the D-pad and the two buttons are in blue? It’s a great way to avoid the dirty D-pad look after hours of button mashing. We wouldn’t be surprised if other color combo mods start popping up after this one.
