DS Visual Novel Reader v1.2.3

Nintendo DS - Image 1It’s only been a few weeks since the previous release of  Jake’s DS Visual Novel Reader, but the latest release already packs in a wallop of new features and fixes. If you haven’t picked up this application yet (as well as a compatible visual novel file), we recommend that you do so. The changelog in the full article.

Tsukihime - Image 1Jake’s DS Visual Novel Reader is updated once again with several new features and bug fixes since its previous release. This time, eagle-eyed users of this application may notice less crashes while using the visual novel reader. Jake also put in timestamps to save files and added other save/load menu improvements, among other things.

It’s certainly an improved user experience for those who have used the DS Visual Novel Reader before, but what about those who’ve yet to discover this nifty application? You can start by trying it out for yourself. With simple controls, it’s not hard to immerse yourself in a portable version of the visual novel culture.
