Dungeons and Dragons Online Weekly Development Activities

dragonHera are the latest updates on the developments being done on Dungeons and Dragons Online, an MMORPG adaptation of the popular table top RPG. We here at QJ are very excited at these developments since they give us a clearer picture of what to expect in the future updates of the game.

Monsters:
Charmed mummies will no longer cause despair in allied players, as dead mummies will no longer cause despair too. Players must also know that Warrior of the Six is now correctly known as Neutral Evil.

Quests:

  • In Gwylan’s stand, an influx of foolish adventurers into the area surrounding it allows various monsters in the area to accumulate a little more treasure.
  • The Lich in Bloody Crypt is now the Black Abbot and not a generic lich. Another character, Salasso, now wears the correct robe. Also, using levers to open the east and west wings will correctly report that you used a lever, and not a book.
  • When you use the waypoint to the Burning Heart, you will be correctly placed at the side entrance room. You can now also see Brother Salasso at work on the Heretical Path from the junction.
  • In the Graveyard, you will see that Julia has outfitted her tavern with new tables and glasswares, and the tavern has now a mapnote. Kai-Teng and Dame Calla have also unpacked many of their books and papers.
  • In the Tomb of the Burning Heart, the untargettable sarcophagi are fixed, so is the group of inactive wights.
  • For Tomb of the Crimson Heart, several undead will no longer spawn on a wall.
  • On the Tomb of the Immortal Heart, only one of each book will spawn and Hell Hounds and Earth Elementals will no longer respawn.
  • On the Tomb of the Sanguine Heart, a broken trap has been fixed.

There are more items which are under development for the game such as improvement of the combat/damage feedback mechanism. These future developments are scheduled after the next update. As always, we’ll keep you posted.
