DVD Rentals Vending Machines by Astala Vista to Invade Tokyo Subways
Being one of the busiest cities in the world, with people perpetually rushing to get to where they’re supposed to go, Tokyo is starting to see vending machines as a one of its society’s must-haves. As people in Tokyo are always on the run, it is important for them have access to every little thing that they need.
From carrying beverages to cigarettes, to cup noodles and disposable cameras (plus film and batteries), vending machines truly have invaded the busy streets of Tokyo, Japan. Expanding territory, these machines will soon invade Tokyo’s underground. Tokyo Metro will soon be putting up ten vending machines offering DVD rentals. Initially priced at Â¥350 ($3), local and Hollywood flicks can be rented out after registering and paying by credit card. After three days, you then have to return the DVD in the vending machine.
Each vending machine will hold up to 330 titles each, and will be made by Astala Vista company.
