Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 as ‘Special’
We’re so used to getting console or PC games ported to handhelds. What if we turn things around and make it a console port of a handheld game? Sounds good, yes? We’re so used to getting console or PC games ported to handhelds. What if we turn things around and make it a console port of a handheld game? Sounds good, yes? Koei thought so too, and so has announced that they will be porting the PSP title, Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce, to both the PS3 and the Xbox 360.
The new console versions adds in something special to the mix, and quite literally too, as it will be now known as Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce Special. But of course, it does live up to the name by vamping up the graphics and tweaks in the ad-hoc play to online play. Up to four players can join in a match at one time, via both PSN and XBLA, and also supports text and voice chat.
You can expect to get it ready by October 1st — well, in Japan. First. As usual. As for a release beyond the territory of the rising sun, no word yet. Oh, and they’re also introducing some new characters, like Meng Huo.
