For Twitter, it’ll be just like having an Xbox 360 Twitter account – people will know what you’re up to, what you’re playing, what you did, and so on. But the Facebook feature will come with more than just the features you find in the site through your browser. Apart from status updates, photo sharing, email, and a bunch of others, the new user interface follows the established New Xbox Experience format complete with the Avatars and feed menus.

One unique feature from the Facebook service is the ability to save screenshots of your game to upload and post for others to see even when you’re offline. Xbox general manager Marc Whitten said this feature will be added to the Xbox 360 SDK, but didn’t provide any info if this is retroactive or if software updates will fix potential compatibility issues.

While the service has its uses, having a sizable friends list would mean than your front page may get spammed with “Blah Blah fragged Whathisface on Some Shooter, Comment. Like.” Microsoft might’ve seen this coming, but an announcement about filter options would be welcome alongside this one.
