E3: Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 video updates galore
Last time, we promised to send in more of Ubisoft‘s DS and Wii exclusive title Rayman Raving Rabbids 2. After a special mention of the game in Nintendo’s press conference, this next batch of videos proves that Ubisfot’s second spritz of humor is even nuttier. And boy, the updates have piled up as high as Mount Everest and this update won’t be a cakewalk.
So what else can we expect from the hilarious hares? If the trailer wasn’t clear enough, the bunnies are here to take over Earth, after their previous invasion of Rayman’s world. With their headquarters set up in a mall, the naughty Rabbids commence their training for their upcoming plans, and it includes trying to mimic everything humans do.
In order to achieve this, they’ll be travelling around the world (queue in Daft Punk’s song) with members carrying out several missions in each location. Humans need not despair, though, because Rayman is bent on thwarting their plans by disguising as one of them. Take him around the world, challenge every Rabbid at their own game, and even dress up to look the part with more 540,000 possible customizations for Rayman and the Rabbids.
The game boasts 60 new games, all different from the first title, that contain nuttier antics while spoofing pop culture around the globe. The new party mode will have friends tagging along with fans to create fun- (and laugh-) fests of up to four players. Wiimote controls have been improved and tweaked and will allow shaking, precision, dexterity, and balance gameplay.
And if that’s not enough to tickle your fancy, you can even use your Wiimote as a guitar or drums – even a mic – as you create and listen to music from popular bands. The game is ogling a November 15 release on the Nintendo Wii and DS.
