E3: Turok devs speak on how Tu-rock with the game’s weapons

Well, well. Look who’s back. The dinosaur hunter notorious for having the sickest, most creative, and probably the most repugnant weapons we’ve ever seen is set for another round of prehistoric carnage in the FPS simply titled Turok. This time he takes it into the next generation with the Microsoft Xbox 360 and the Sony PlayStation 3.

In this video, the developers will tell you what gives the Turok franchise its unique identity in the competitive FPS arena. Actually, they didn’t have to because we already know what’s in the heart of this bad boy. This game is all about spilling reptile and alien guts so badly that you’d see it in every spaghetti dish you eat after you play it. It’s brutality at its finest and we won’t have it any other way.

As the devs say here, you can approach the game in many different ways, be it with stealth and finesse using the Tek bow and a knife or with sheer force using dual shotguns and explosives. Choose the latter, it’s good for the soul.

Overall, this rendition of the original title from the Nintendo 64 is shaping up to be a game to watch out for. We’ll keep you posted on how it all goes down when new details arrive.
