Ea drops online support for older titles
There’s a bit of bad news coming in from the Electronic Arts camp. Starting September, most of the sports titles it released with ’06 affixed to them will no longer have their online service supported. Some racing titles will also take a hit. Here’s a list of games which won’t be supported anymore with the affected platform:
1. FIFA Soccer 06 (Xbox 360, PC, PSP)
2. Fight Night Round 3 (PSP)
3. Madden NFL 06 (Xbox 360,PC,PSP)
4. NBA Live 06 (Xbox 360, PC, PSP)
5. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 (Xbox 360)
6. Need for Speed Most Wanted (PSP)
It’s too bad that these games will lose online support soon. A lot of these were pretty good titles that could hold their own to this day. Oh well, life goes on. Besides, most of us probably already have newer incarnations of these franchises. It’s been nice knowing their online sides.
